Smokey was sent to New Zealand as a pup to show. After 5 years, his owner was going to stop showing him, due to family illness, so Smokey came home. It took a while for him to settle in but once he did, he titled quickly. He was a nice big strong dog exactly like his sire, he showed well in the ring. Once he was an Australian Champion, he retired. Smokey died suddenly from a heart attack 2002, tick related.
